Handling is very important; sharpened cutting edges should never be allowed to come into contact with any hard object (or another tool) in a non-machining environment, as they will chip easily. The harder a carbide substrate is, the more susceptible it is to chipping or breakage.  RoundTool's products use extremely hard carbides, so rigid fixturing, precise toolholding, and minimized runout will all contribute to a world-class cutting experience.
